Job Description

Join the Movement. Transform Lives. Lead the Future of Wellness.

Who We Are:
Welcome to The Current — a luxury wellness studio redefining what recovery, performance, and vitality can feel like. Our first-to-market experience fuses science, technology, and mindfulness into one transformative, 50-minute ritual. From pro athletes and executives to everyday people who want to look, feel, and perform their best, we’re helping clients recharge their bodies and reset their minds faster than ever before.

At the heart of our method is Contrast Oxygen Training — the signature experience that has made The Current one of the most innovative wellness brands in the country. With our second location opening this spring, we’re seeking passionate, driven, and health-minded leaders ready to grow with us as we expand locally and nationwide.

This isn’t just a job — it’s an opportunity to be part of something entirely new. To learn, to lead, and to help others feel better than they thought possible.

What You’ll Do

As a Wellness Coach at The Current, you’ll play a dual role: inspiring clients through guided oxygen sessions while ensuring smooth, efficient studio operations. This is a hands-on, fast-paced role for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and loves helping others feel better than they thought possible.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coach & Lead Sessions: Conduct small-group Contrast Oxygen Training experiences for up to four clients at a time, delivering high energy, mindfulness, and motivation.
  • Deliver Exceptional Service: Educate clients on The Current Method (training provided), answer questions, and ensure each session feels personal and impactful.
  • Studio Operations: Open, close, and oversee daily studio functions to maintain cleanliness, organization, and operational excellence.
  • Sanitation & Care: Properly clean and sanitize all breathing masks and oxygen equipment after each session.
  • Technology Mastery: Use our CRM and POS systems (Glofox) to manage bookings, memberships, and retail transactions.

Who You Are

  • People-Driven: You connect easily, communicate clearly, and create uplifting experiences for others.
  • Experienced & Dependable: Ideally one year in a customer-facing or leadership role (coach, trainer, teacher, manager, parent, etc.).
  • Wellness-Minded: You live a healthy lifestyle and are excited to share that passion with others — no prior certifications required.
  • Reliable & Professional: You show up on time, look sharp, and bring a positive, team-first attitude.
  • Educated & Eager: High school diploma required; college degree or relevant experience a plus.
  • Safety-Focused: CPR certification required (or obtained within 30 days).

Why Join The Current

  • Be part of a cutting-edge wellness brand making real impact.
  • Grow with us — opportunities for leadership, management, and education as we expand.
  • Work with state-of-the-art technology and help clients achieve tangible transformation every day.

What does a typical day look like?

Opening Tasks

  • Arrive 20 minutes early to prep the studio.
  • Power on systems: lights, music, oxygen generators, and air purifiers.
  • Check cleanliness, readiness, and mask setup.
  • Tidy lobby and studio; vacuum as needed.

Closing Tasks

  • Power down oxygen systems and all equipment.
  • Clean and sanitize all masks, bikes, and surfaces.
  • Log all POS/CRM activity in Glofox.
  • Remove trash, reset the studio, lock, and secure the facility.

Oxygen Coach Development

Training & Development

  • Complete a week of immersive onboarding, experiencing The Current Method firsthand.
  • Learn the science and protocol behind Contrast Oxygen Training.
  • Shadow and practice coaching before leading sessions independently.

Coaching Excellence

  • Deliver high-energy, mindful sessions that inspire and challenge.
  • Lead with confidence, empathy, and enthusiasm.
  • Set the tone of the room through music, energy, and presence.
