Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education, Special Education, or Visual Impairments, active Teacher of the Visually Impaired certification and 1+ years Teacher of the Visually Impaired experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A K-12 school in Keystone Heights, FL, is seeking an experienced Teacher for the Visually Impaired (TVI) to provide specialized instructional support for students with visual impairments. This onsite contract position involves working closely with a caseload of nine students in grades 3 through 10, primarily at one location, with some travel required to serve students at the Children's Reading Center Charter School in Palatka, FL.
Location: Keystone Heights, FL (with some travel to Palatka, FL)
Job Type: Contract, Full School Year (CSY)
Schedule: 2-3 days per week (14-25 hours weekly, depending on evaluations)
Caseload: 9 students, grades 3-10
