The position is primarily remote, with occasional work required in Boston, MA. The Fundraising Manager will report to the Senior Regional Director for New England and will play a vital role in growing the organization's lay leadership ranks, raising operating funds and facilitating political donation. Candidates must reside in Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut or New Hampshire and be willing to travel to Boston at their own expense for occasional in-person meetings with donors and staff.Our Ideal Candidate:•5+ years of experience in fundraising and donor relations required•Passion, understanding, and commitment to the organization's mission required•Ability to cultivate and maintain relationships with donors required•Ability to identify and acquire new sources of funding required•Strong understanding of the political and Jewish communal landscape required•15% travel requiredHow You Will Spend Your Day: Development:Cultivate and manage relationships with current donors to increase support.Identify and research new funding sources.Foster long-term growth through multi-year and planned-giving.Organize high-impact donor events to raise funds and expand the organization's leadership network. Relationship Steward:Identify and empower leaders in key cities to advance the organization's mission.Engage lay leaders in advocacy, political efforts, and organizing within the Jewish community.
