Job Title: Fire Alarm Specialist

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Fire Alarm Technician to install, inspect, test, maintain, and repair fire alarm systems in commercial, industrial, and residential settings. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of fire safety codes and standards, excellent troubleshooting skills, and a commitment to ensuring the safety and compliance of all systems. This role is flexible on pay and can interview and start as soon as possible.

Schedule: Monday to Friday (7am - 3:30pm)

Pay: $50-$55 (maybe higher based on experience)

Responsibilities

• Install and program fire alarm systems and related components.
• Perform routine inspections, testing, and maintenance in accordance with NFPA 72 and local fire codes.
• Diagnose and repair system malfunctions and wiring issues.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, tests, and repairs.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable safety regulations and standards.
• Respond to emergency service calls as required.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in electrical systems and fire alarm installation.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for fire alarm systems.
• Experience with wiring and pulling wire.
• Possession of a journeyman license.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Familiarity with NFPA 72 and local fire codes.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $55.00/hr.
