Overview

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Welder/Fabricator to join our dynamic team in Louisville, KY. If you have a passion for metalworking and enjoy creating high-quality products, this is the perfect opportunity for you! In this role, you'll be responsible for welding and fabricating various components, ensuring that our projects meet both safety standards and client specifications.

1st shift: 5am-1:30, 5 8's

2nd shift: 3:30- 2-am, 4 10's

Pay is based off of the weld test and interview process. We look forward to giving you more info throughout the hiring process!

• Perform welding and fabrication tasks using Flux welding techniques.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
• Set up and operate welding equipment and tools safely and efficiently.
• Inspect finished products for quality and adherence to specifications.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, following safety protocols at all times.
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively to ensure project success.
• Assist in troubleshooting and resolving fabrication issues as they arise.

• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant technical certification is a plus.
• Proven experience as a welder/fabricator, with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
• Proficiency in various welding techniques and familiarity with metal fabrication processes.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints and technical drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Knowledge of safety standards and practices in a welding environment.

You should be proficient in:

• Troubleshooting Skills
• OSHA 10-Hour Certification (OSHA 10)
• Welding Setups for Production
• Blueprint Reading

Machines & technologies you'll use:

• Flux-Cored Arc Welder

Salary info:

$25 - $30 / hr
