JOB DESCRIPTION
•Release equipment, understand schedules and budgets, assist with change orders, and anticipate scope gaps. •Teach and unify the team, particularly Project Engineers (PEs), for cohesive project execution. •Oversee installations, including work plans, submittals, RFIs, take-offs, and PE checklists. •Coordinate daily with subcontractors to discuss progress and address issues. •Conduct site inspections to identify potential errors or issues. •Assess coordination needs prior to construction activities. •Provide training and support to current Project Engineers. •Oversee construction of major structures like chemical buildings, treatment buildings, and gravity thickeners. •Plan and manage integration of new structures with existing ones. •Utilize Bluebeam Studio for documentation and collaboration. •Summarize daily progress, update checklists, and prepare for the next day's activities.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- 5 years of experience in Heavy civil construction - 5 years of experience as a Project Manager - 3 years of leadership experience - 2 years experience working in waste water/water treatment facilities - Experience working with RFI's, submittals, and sub-contractor agreements - Ability to read and understand drawings and specifications.
