Job description:
People First Employment is looking for a 2nd shift  Warehouse Forklift Operator  to join our team!

Our partner distributes thousands of products to pet and feed stores, kennels, groomers, trainers, shelters and veterinarians throughout California, Arizona, Nevada, and Hawaii. This is a fast-paced and physical position. We require at least 3 years of experience in the following equipment: Cherry Picker, Reach Truck, Sit-down single forklift and Stand-on Electric Pallet Jack.

Schedule: 2nd shift Mon -Thur 2pm-11:30pm & Fridays 12noon-4:00pm

OT as Needed

(Training schedule during 1st shift)

Pay: $20.00 hr

Responsibilities :

• Process required documents with accuracy within PDC safety and performance requirements.
• Process Inbound orders using RF technology and following PDC standard operation procedures
• Receive and stock inbound orders while noting the quantity and any discrepancies in quantities as well as recording any damages.
• Verify inventory accuracy to make sure it’s the right part and the right quantity
• Unload or load trailers, verify bills of lading, and check for transit damage.
• Monitor and report equipment damages and operational issues to Team Leader.
• Maintain the cleanliness, orderliness, and safety of all areas of the RDC / PDC.
• Train other associates and new hires when necessary.
• Observe all safety rules, quality standards, and follow standard operating procedures for assigned tasks.

Skills  : Cherry Picking, Pallet Jack Operation, Reach Truck Operation, Sit Down Forklifts, Inventory, RF Scanner, Experienced 3 years

The essential functions of this role include :

• working in a smoke free environment
• wearing steel toe shoes
• manual lifting up to 50lbs
• standing for 8 hours at one time
• working up to 10 hrs of overtime per week
• working weekends
