\n Work Experience:
\nTypically 1–2 years in acute/inpatient settings; neonatal/pediatric/critical care or PFT specialization preferred\n\n \n\n Education:
\nAssociate’s (minimum) or Bachelor’s in Respiratory Care from a CoARC-accredited program\n\n \n\n License:
\nNBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT); Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) acceptable for entry-level
\nIllinois Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license. \n\n \n\n Certifications:
\nBasic Life Support (BLS); ACLS, PALS/NRP preferred depending on unit
