Job Details

• Orientation is bi-weekly with upcoming start dates on 10/27 and 11/10.
• Duke Lifepoint Hospital has 294 beds and is Joint Commission Accredited.
• Services include cancer care, cardiac care, orthopedics, imaging, surgical services, and more.
• Located in Wilson, NC, 45 miles east of Raleigh, 2 hours from the coast of NC, and 1 hour from major universities such as Duke, NC State, UNC Chapel Hill, and East Carolina University.
• 15-minute drive to Lake Wilson from the facility.
• Home to the historic Fleming Stadium.

Job Requirements

• Must have Meditech Experience.
• Required Certifications: BLS and ACLS.
• 1.5+ years of experience.
• Required Education: Associate degree; BSN preferred.
• Must have skills/experience in EKG interpretation, critical thinking skills, knowledge of critical drips (vasopressors, sedation) titration knowledge.

Schedule Information

• Shift options: 7 AM or 7 PM.
• Weekly guaranteed hours: 36 hours.
• Weekend hours: 12 hours (every other or every third weekend).
• No call requirements.
• Float requirements: Yes.

Unit Specific Information

• Facility Department/Cost Center: 650.
• Role: RN.
• Specialty: ICU and IMU.
• Number of openings: 6.
• Common diagnoses/treatments: COPD, ARF, DKA, Sepsis, Shock.
• Personality fit: Team oriented, flexible, and adaptable.

Additional Details

• Tele Overflow unit.
• Dress code: Scrub color not assigned.
• Unacceptable attire: Artificial nails.
