Position Summary:

VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate CT Technologist - CT Tech to join our growing clinician community. Key Responsibilities:

\n\n

• Perform CT imaging procedures for patients across all age groups including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Conduct various CT scans including head, chest, abdomen, pelvis, cervical, lumbar, thoracic, and sinuses with and without contrast
• Prepare and administer contrast media as required for imaging procedures
• Perform specialized CT procedures including coronary CTA, CT arthrography, brain perfusion, and vascular CTA
• Conduct advanced imaging techniques such as 3D rendering, multiplanar reconstruction, and volume rendering
• Perform CT-guided procedures including biopsies, aspirations, and drainage procedures
• Start peripheral IVs and perform venipuncture as needed for contrast administration
• Operate CT equipment including Siemens systems and ensure proper functioning
• Maintain radiation safety protocols and practices throughout all procedures
• Document procedures and patient information using Epic charting system
• Work with emergency department patients and trauma cases including Level II trauma
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams
• Float between sister facilities and affiliate hospitals as assigned
• Maintain current BLS certification and California state license
• Complete required pre-start and annual training modules
• Provide minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year within comparable specialty
• Work rotating weekends and commit to working 3 out of 5 major holidays
• Utilize facility-provided communication devices when required for assignment duties
• Self-report time spent on non-billable training modules
• Adhere to facility policies and procedures for patient care and imaging protocols

Job Requirements:

\n\n

\n\t
• Active, unencumbered license in CA
\n\t
• Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
\n\t
• Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
\n\t
• Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
\n

• Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)

• Two current clinical references
\n\t
• State-required professional license
\n\t
• Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
\n\t
• TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
\n\t
• Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
\n\t
• Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
\n\t
• Must pass background check and drug screening
\n
