Job Description
A highly-regarded, AmLaw-recognized firm is discreetly seeking a talented and motivated Transactions Associate to join their team. This is a unique opportunity to join a sophisticated practice and play a pivotal role in advising both established industry leaders and groundbreaking emerging companies.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating complex commercial agreements , including collaboration, partnering, and licensing deals. This position involves a significant focus on providing strategic guidance to technology companies on product strategy, development, and market positioning . A key component of the role involves working alongside the firm's Corporate and M&A teams, focusing on the IP and technology aspects of complex M&A transactions and venture capital financings . Exposure to a wide array of cutting-edge technologies is a daily reality, including but not limited to: AI, fintech, autonomous vehicles, edtech, renewable energy, AR/VR, cybersecurity, biotechnology, and digital health.Ideal Qualifications
Dedicated legal experience in IP and technology transactions .
A strong interest in working on technology transactions for M&A matters and emerging company/venture capital clients .
Demonstrated excellence in research, analytical thinking, drafting, and communication.
A proven commitment to quality and the ability to thrive in a demanding, fast-paced environment.
JD required and current admission to the state bar of any of these states: NY, CA, MA, TX, WA
