Job Description

Training Coordinator

The Training Coordinator conducts training for new and existing team members in various settings, including the classroom, training cell, and on the production floor. This role involves observing production operations to determine training needs and updating the curriculum as required. The coordinator collaborates with other leaders to address both defined and emerging training needs and monitors new team member performance to make recommendations for their progression.

Responsibilities include:

  • Facilitating training modules within the Training Cell.
  • Offering specific training, coaching, and feedback to help team members improve job skills.
  • Presenting information using various techniques such as role-playing, simulations, team exercises, group discussions, videos, or lectures.
  • Assisting in developing training procedure manuals, guides, or course materials.
  • Coordinating with Human Resources and supervision to manage workforce readiness.
  • Liaising with production management regarding the placement of new team members.
  • Maintaining certification in several manufacturing and support areas and remaining flexible to work in those areas as needed.
  • Supporting and developing opportunities for improvement within the training department and manufacturing operations.
  • Supporting the CI Specialist and CI Manager with Continuous Improvement activities and projects.
  • Providing support to various areas of the manufacturing floor when not tasked with training or CI projects.
  • Maintaining a clean and organized work area.

Additional skills and qualifications include:

  • Minimum of one year of experience in a similar role.
  • Demonstrate the ability to be flexible and work in many different areas with high proficiency.

Work Environment

The work environment involves extended time on feet, manual dexterity, and hand-eye coordination with hand/power tools. The role requires frequent stooping, bending, walking, carrying, and lifting up to 50 pounds. Light office duties and activities are also part of the work environment.

The pay range for this position is $53040.00/yr. Full benefits from client as it's a direct hire role.
