**Description** Leidos is looking for a talented Technical Writer Intern. The intern will work with the Artificial Intelligence Accelerator to review and author different written products for distribution. The candidates will be adept at transforming complex technical concepts into simplified language, as well as automating and optimizing production processes. **Primary Responsibilities** : + Determine the clearest and most logical way to present information for greatest reader comprehension. + Generate innovative ideas for content and workflow solutions. + Meet with subject-matter experts to ensure specialized topics are appropriately addressed. + Analyze information required for the development or update of policy, procedure and form documentation. + Review and/or copyedit content developed by other members of the team. + Composes, reviews, and edits technical documents, materials, and reports. + Researches, develops, analyzes, and summarizes, and disseminates information on techniques for organizing and presenting information. + Arranges for the duplication and distribution of documents, publications, and reports. + Consults with staff in the development of materials. + Prepares responses to correspondence, reports, surveys, questionnaires, and other requests for information. + Maintains records and files of work and revisions. + Performs related work as assigned. **Basic Qualifications** + Must be enrolled and pursuing a degree in english, communications, or a technical field like IT or engineering. + Strong writing and communication skills, as well as the ability to learn complex technical concepts quickly, are also essential. + US citizenship required. **Preferred Qualifications** : + Degrees in English, communications, journalism, or a technical field like IT, computer science, engineering. + The ability to conduct thorough research, understand technical concepts, and explain them clearly is essential. + Familiarity with technical terminology, software, and platforms used in the industry is important. + Demonstrated critical thinking + Ability to collaborate and compromise. **Original Posting:** May 5, 2025 For U.S. Positions: While subject to change based on business needs, Leidos reasonably anticipates that this job requisition will remain open for at least 3 days with an anticipated close date of no earlier than 3 days after the original posting date as listed above. **Pay Range:** Pay Range $46,800.00 - $84,600.00 The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline onlyand not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
