Tax Preparer - On-Site | Up to $23.00 DOE | St. Ann / Florissant, MO

Job Summary


We are currently seeking experienced Tax Preparer candidates for on-site opportunities in St. Ann and Florissant, MO. This role is ideal for reliable, detail-oriented professionals with tax preparation experience who are seeking steady seasonal or long-term work with growth potential.


You will be working with Express Employment Professionals, a staffing firm that partners with multiple reputable companies throughout St. Louis and St. Charles County.

What You'll Be Doing


• Prepare individual and small business tax returns accurately and efficiently
• Review financial records and tax documents to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Enter, review, and manage tax data using professional tax preparation software
• Utilize Microsoft Office and cloud-based systems for documentation and filing
• Communicate clearly with clients or internal teams regarding required tax information
• Assist with peak-season workload, with flexible weekly hours ranging from 25-40 hours


Requirements


• Minimum of 1 year of professional tax preparation experience
• Experience preparing multiple types of tax returns preferred
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and tax preparation software (CrossLink experience is a plus)
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work in an on-site office environment
• Additional experience may qualify candidates for higher pay
