CONSIDERATION REQUIRES EXPERIENCE AS A STORE DIRECTOR OR DISTRICT MANAGER LEVEL ROLE

Are you a visionary leader with a passion for driving success and inspiring teams? We're looking for an exceptional Store Director to join our retail organization and lead our store in the East Detroit Market. As a Store Director, you'll shape the customer experience, lead operational excellence, and foster a vibrant team culture.

You will be accountable for retail Team Members at all levels to ensure the best shopping experience. Responsible for the total operation of the store, leading in line with our leadership expectations and core values to maximize financial success. Must provide remarkable customer service and financial stability through core retail operations, maintaining operational and merchandising standards. Develop a team that meets productivity and customer service goals.

What You'll be Doing:

As Store Director, you will leverage your retail leadership and service expertise to ensure your store's success. Recognize, assist, and appreciate customers to create 'WOW' moments and meaningful experiences. Do you have proven abilities to analyze financial data, provide excellent customer service, and develop future leaders?

• Use your skills to maximize sales and maintain fiscal responsibility.
• Provide excellent customer service throughout store operations.
• Mentor and coach team members and leaders to meet and exceed goals.
• Ensure proper staffing with well-trained team members and develop existing staff.
• Maintain all corporate, safety, and regulatory procedures to ensure a safe environment.
• Build community relationships to support the Meijer brand.

What You Bring With You (Qualifications):

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent retail experience
• 5 years of retail/service industry experience
• 3 years of leadership experience managing teams with direct reports
• Minimum 3 years of retail leadership with General Merchandise and Grocery/Fresh experience preferred
• Experience leading retail or service operations with at least $40 million in annual sales revenue
• Ability to obtain and maintain necessary store licenses
• Physical ability to lift, carry, and perform other acts as required
