Farinella LLC — a branding and marketing agency based in Emeryville, CA — seeks a versatile social media manager with five-plus years of experience who can think strategically and creatively while delivering informative and engaging content across a variety of platforms.

Long story short, we need you to be nimble, smart, creative, and good.

While working with us, you’ll

• collaborate with our internal team — creative director, designer, account manager, and digital strategist
• think strategically
• be unlimited in your approach to raising our client’s brand awareness and communicating their company’s promise
• integrate with our broader marketing and communications strategy
• have platform expertise in LinkedIn, Meta, Reddit, etc.
• research, write, and deliver posts across all platforms
• engage with online communities in the voice of our clients
• translate analytics into learnings for our clients
• interface with clients for ideas and feedback

and we expect that you’ll be able to

• balance creativity with strategy
• produce clean, emotional, and captivating copy
• have a point of view about what works and can back it up
• balance multiple client accounts at once
• have a favorite donut
• keep learning
• buy into the spirit of partnership

The Nitty Gritty

five-plus years of social media management experience

able to own the entire process from concept to delivery to analytics

able to translate messaging into copy on LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, etc.

strong collaborative skills and a good attitude

organized, self-starter, and all that blah-blah-blah

• this is a contract position
• we’d love for you to live in the San Francisco Bay Area, but are open to remote workers based in the United States.
