We are filling multiple Industrial Sewing Machine Operator positions in the Duquesne area. You will fill, sew and bag pillows according to standards. Newly hired employees expected to perform this job efficiently within 6 weeks. Daylight shift is $15.05 per hour, and Overnight shift is $16.05 per hour, both with weekly pay. Similar job titles may include Industrial Seamstress, Tailor, or Embroiderer.

These Industrial Sewing Machine Operator positions require a 2-2-3 work schedule. The benefits of this schedule are only working 14 days a month, every other week you get OT, and every other week you have Friday, Saturday, and Sunday off!

Industrial Sewing Machine Operator Role & Requirements:

• You will be operating single needle sewing machines.
• You will fill pillow shell with fiber, place the pillow on the conveyor and check weight on scales.
• Responsible for replacing needles and re-threading machines.
• Safety is a priority. All employees are responsible for careful and safe use of all equipment and property. Must perform all duties in a way that ensures the safety of oneself and one’s co-workers.
• Experience as an Industrial Seamstress, Tailor, or Embroiderer helpful but not required.

Industrial Sewing Machine Operator Pay & Benefits:

• Must be able to stand or sit for extended periods during shift.
• Must be able to lift 35 lbs. & basic math skills.
• 12 hour shifts: 6a - 6p @ $15.05 per hour, 6p - 6a @ 16.05 per hour, both shifts paid weekly.
