Social Media Manager - Esports Betting & Entertainment

As we expand into new global regions and continue to grow our user base, we're seeking a dynamic Social Media Manager to lead our social strategy and help drive the next phase of growth. About the Role:
As a leading esports betting brand, we're looking for someone who is passionate about esports and deeply plugged into internet culture. Our ideal candidate is a social media enthusiast with a keen eye for trends, always one step ahead of what's next. You'll be responsible for managing content calendars, engaging with communities, brainstorming new social activations, and pitching creative content ideas. Working closely with our Creative and Marketing teams, you'll be at the forefront of developing the social brand strategy, crafting world-class content that resonates with a global audience.
With a network of over 100+ partners across 10+ countries, we're just getting started. We believe in building a thriving community through social media and content, connecting audiences with the esports and sports experiences they love. Your unique ideas and expertise will play a key role in helping us grow and expand our brand's presence.
This is a fully remote position, but we're looking for someone in a timezone within +/- 3 hours of EST.
What You'll Do:
Manage Content Calendars: Oversee daily content calendars and ensure posts align with both company goals and audience interests.
Champion Audience Engagement: Act as the voice of the audience, ensuring content speaks to their interests while serving brand objectives.
Collaborate on Content Creation: Work closely with the Creative and Marketing teams to develop editorial calendars with dynamic, trend-forward content (including talent-driven ideas).
Coordinate with Country Teams: Collaborate with local teams across regions to create innovative campaigns and content that elevate the brand while staying true to regional differences.
Pitch Creative Ideas: Regularly pitch daily, weekly, and monthly content ideas tailored to boost engagement on each of our social media platforms.
Foster Collaboration: Work alongside Country Leads to enhance and develop localized content, ensuring it aligns with global objectives and resonates with diverse audiences.
Community Management: Manage social media communities across Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, TikTok, and others (knowledge of YouTube and SEO is a plus).
Monitor Social Trends: Stay on top of social conversations, competitor activities, and trends to maintain a competitive edge.
Content Creation: Write and revise social copy, scripts, and create assets like Instagram Stories, short videos, and GIFs.
Performance Analysis: Analyze social performance data and provide reports on key metrics for campaigns and weekly updates.
What We're Looking For:
Experience: 3-5 years managing social media channels with a strong background in agency and/or client management.
Leadership: Proven ability to lead and mentor a global team of social media specialists.
Creative Eye: A keen eye for design and a passion for creative content.
Strong Writing Skills: A background in copywriting or journalism is a big plus.
Tech Savvy: Familiarity with Slack, Google Suite, and light skills in Adobe Creative Suite.
Platform Expertise: Knowledge of current social platforms, including Facebook/Instagram Creator Studio and analytics tools.
Passion for Innovation: Enthusiasm for pushing the boundaries of social content and building a larger brand presence through social media.
