About the Role As the Senior Design Program Manager at DoorDash, you will drive innovation and excellence through our Design systems. You will collaborate with visionary product designers and design systems experts to improve usability across our diverse DoorDash ecosystem, helping Consumers, Merchants, Dashers, and our Internal Tools. You will report to the Sr. Design Director of the Design Foundations organization and work in a hybrid environment, integrating onsite and remote collaboration. You're excited about this opportunity because you will… Lead end-to-end roadmap planning, strategy, and execution of design programs that impact our Design Systems and ensure the success of Consumers, Merchants, Dashers, and our Internal Tools across Design and Engineering. Partner with designers on strategic projects, like improving internal platforms, tools, net new features, redesigns, and enhancing their designs with operational rigor and systems thinking. Work with design, engineering, and analytics teams to systematically prevent craft issues and improve design quality and usability for our users. Manage agency partnerships and procurement processes for creative projects that evolve the visual design language of the apps, extending the DoorDash brand. Identify opportunities to maximize the efficiency of Design at DoorDash and enable our teams to ship products faster. We're excited about you because… You have 5+ years of experience with a strong portfolio demonstrating development of 0→1 programs that enable craft at scale, and experience leading new initiatives within Design teams. You possess strong design acumen and advanced knowledge of both the design and technical aspects of a design system. You are an excellent communicator and a thoughtful cross-functional partner, capable of articulating complex topics clearly to stakeholders at all levels. You are resourceful and love tools, creative problem solving, and trying new approaches to shape the future. Base salary is localized according to work location. Ranges are market-dependent and subject to future modification. In addition, this role offers opportunities for equity grants. Hourly roles: Vacation accrued at about 1 hour per 25.97 hours worked; sick leave at 1 hour per 30 hours worked.
