Beacon Hill is a proud partner to a reputable Non-Profit organization in Chicago. We are currently hiring a Senior Accountant.
Responsibilities/Duties
The responsibilities of the Senior Accountant are, but are not limited to:
Manage and oversee accounting operations, financial reporting, and analysis in accordance with US GAAP.
Perform financial analysis and modeling, including ROI, discounted cash flows, and variance analysis.
Lead and support the budgeting process, ensuring accuracy and alignment with organizational goals.
Collaborate with internal and external auditors to ensure compliance and accurate reporting.
Handle foreign currency transactions, intercompany accounting, and consolidation activities.
Ensure compliance with regulatory, tax, and internal control frameworks.
Conduct research and provide recommendations for new accounting standards (ASUs) and related implementations.
Utilize ERP systems to streamline reporting and accounting operations; Oracle Cloud experience preferred.
Build and maintain strong relationships with cross-functional teams across U.S. and international offices.
Deliver high-quality work independently with strong attention to detail, timeliness, and accuracy.
Requirements
BS/BA in Accounting; CPA or equivalent technical expertise required.
8-10 years of progressive experience in accounting and financial reporting; advanced degree preferred.
Proven knowledge of US GAAP, financial modeling tools, and budgeting processes.
Strong analytical and research skills with a demonstrated ability to apply complex accounting standards.
Experience working within global organizations and managing multi-currency transactions.
Proficiency with ERP systems, particularly Oracle Cloud.
