Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $16.50 / Hour Job Schedule : DayTimeThur08: 00 AM - 04 : 00 PM Fri12 : 00 AM - 08 : 00 AM Sat12 : 00 AM - 08 : 00 AM What You'll Do : Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education Receive site‑specific training and guidance from experienced teams Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise Responsibilities : Provide customer service by carrying out security‑related procedures, following site‑specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner to support a secure environment. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter, which may include parking areas, production facilities, and administrative buildings. Observe and report any suspicious activities or potential hazards to help deter unwanted incidents. Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and team members while performing patrol duties. Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points as required by site protocols. Document all security‑related activities, incidents, and observations according to Allied Universal policies and client requirements. What We're Looking For : Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full‑time roles when available Minimum Requirements : Possession of a valid Guard Card or license is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. CPR and / or First Aid certification is preferred. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
