As a Security Professional - Industrial Site - Morning Shift in Ladson, SC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial and more .

As a Patrol Unarmed Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will be responsible for monitoring and patrolling designated areas within a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location. You will conduct regular patrols and remain visible throughout the site to help to deter security-related incidents, while providing outstanding customer service and clear communication to those you encounter. This role requires a valid driver's license and adherence to AU driver policy requirements, as you may be required to operate a vehicle during your patrols. What You’ll Do:

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, responding to emergency situations.
  • Respond to incidents and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the manufacturing and industrial location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities.
  • Maintain awareness of the surroundings and report any irregularities or suspicious activities.
  • Collaborate with site personnel and visitors to address security-related concerns in a professional manner.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver’s license is required for positions involving driving responsibilities in accordance with Allied Universal Driver Policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
