As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned commercial real estate locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a welcoming environment. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $26.16 / Hour Job Schedule: Day and time details: Sat: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Sun: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM What You’ll Do Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise Responsibilities Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help maintain order within the commercial real estate location. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the property and its perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns. Monitor access points and observe for unusual or suspicious activity within the location. Document and report security-related incidents, hazards, and/or maintenance issues as observed during patrols. Collaborate with property management and/or local authorities as needed to address security-related matters. Maintain a visible presence throughout the commercial real estate location to help deter potential issues and provide assistance to tenants, employees, and visitors. What We’re Looking For Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available Minimum Requirements Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience. Must be at least 21 years of age. A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
