As a Security Officer - Chemical Facility Patrol in Baytown, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated chemical and petrochemical locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a visible presence. Your role will include conducting routine patrols, managing access control, and providing outstanding customer service to all personnel and visitors. This is a driving post, requiring a valid commercial driver's license. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $15.75 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon05:00 AM - 05:00 PMTue05:00 AM - 05:00 PMThur05:00 AM - 05:00 PMFri05:00 AM - 05:00 PM What You'll Do: Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise Responsibilities: Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities as appropriate. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the chemical and petrochemical location. Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or access. Monitor for unusual activity or potential hazards specific to chemical and petrochemical environments, reporting concerns according to site protocols. Communicate clearly and professionally with site personnel, visitors, and Allied Universal management regarding security-related matters. Document and report security-related incidents and observations as required by site procedures. What We're Looking For: Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available Minimum Requirements: Applicants must be at least 21 years of age. Customer service experience is preferred. Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred. Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is required. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
