Security Manager

NewGen is seeking a Security Manager to develop and implement security programs to protect personnel, facilities, and information within a military organization. You would be responsible for ensuring compliance with security regulations and policies, managing security investigations, and advising commanders on security matters. This role also involves training personnel on security procedures and conducting security inspections. This role involves developing, implementing, and maintaining security programs, conducting risk assessments, and ensuring compliance with relevant security regulations. Additional duty will include coordinating/scheduling AF Senior Leaders for orientation at a continuity of operations (COOP) facility.

Primary Job Duties:

• Develop and maintain AF/A4 information security, industrial security, personnel security, PII, and SAF Security. Write and revise key documentation on behalf of the client. There will be many opportunities to write key DoD strategies, documents, papers, and reports that will be utilized by the client's entire organization. (40%).
• Manage A4 COOP/CAT program appointment, scheduling, and recalls for A4 programs. (20%).
• Process security clearances, verify document signatures and processes, ensure timely execution of security processes. (20%).
• Assist the A4 Director of Staff with security related projects. (10%).
• Analyze requirements, strategize solutions, and pitch proposals to the client on new IT capabilities within the client's technology portfolio (10%).

Required skills/Level of Experience:

• Bachelor's degree
• Top Secret clearance is required
• 3+ years of experience in Security or Office Sustainment type positions
• 5+ years of experience with Headquarters Air Force
• Experience with SAP Security- Department of Defense Manual 5205.07, Volume 1, Special Access Program (SAP) Security Manual: General Procedures
