Job Description

Our client is seeking a Scrum Master with a background in systems and infrastructure.

This is a 6-month contract opportunity that is hybrid to downtown Chicago.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Serve as Scrum Master for two engineering teams consisting of engineers, a product owner, and a technical lead
• Facilitate all formal Agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, reviews, etc.)
• Collaborate closely with the Lead Scrum Master and participate in Scrum of Scrums
• Support quarterly planning and execution cycles
• Promote Agile best practices and continuous improvement within the teams
• Remove impediments and foster a culture of accountability and transparency
• Coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure alignment and delivery

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Strong understanding of Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) or similar enterprise Agile methodologies
• Background in systems and infrastructure, particularly in cloud environments
• Experience supporting platform engineering teams
• Familiarity with enterprise-level planning and coordination

Pay: 70-75/hr W2
