About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Regional Property Manager to oversee a portfolio of properties across multiple markets. This role is based in St. Louis, Missouri , and requires regular travel to assigned sites to provide operational leadership, ensure financial performance, and support on-site property teams.

The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, a strategic thinker, and a hands-on leader who excels in property operations, budgeting, staff development, and resident satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the operational and financial performance of a multi-site property portfolio.
  • Conduct regular property visits across the region to evaluate performance and provide coaching.
  • Develop, monitor, and manage annual operating budgets.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, local regulations, fair housing laws, and safety standards.
  • Partner with leasing, maintenance, and community management teams to optimize occupancy, revenue, and resident experience.
  • Analyze weekly/monthly reports, identify trends, and implement action plans for improvement.
  • Recruit, train, and mentor on-site staff to build high-performing teams.
  • Oversee capital improvement projects and vendor relationships.
  • Handle escalated resident issues professionally and efficiently.
  • Support acquisition due diligence, onboarding of new properties, and transitions when needed.

Qualifications

  • 3–5+ years of multi-site property regional management experience.
  • Strong knowledge of property operations, budgeting, and financial reporting.
  • Experience with property management software (RealPage, Yardi, AppFolio, etc.).
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Ability to travel regularly within the region (up to 50–70%).
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
  • CAM, CAPS, ARM, or similar certifications a plus.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary: $100,000–$120,000 depending on experience
