ABOUT THE ROLE
\nThe Production Engineer II is expected to champion the data integrity for the Colorado aggregate sites to
\nensure an efficient flow of production data through the SAP other business systems to provide
\nuninterrupted supply of product through the system processes. The Production Engineer will be responsible
\nfor individual plant and production performance reporting, i.e. running equipment efficiency, uptime,
\ndowntime, capex and trend analysis. The incumbent will be seen as an SAP Super User and Data
\nGatekeeper who will oversee and assist with the administrative workflow, material creation and management.

WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH
\n\n

\n\t
• Demonstrates a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to safety policies in all work environments and areas.
\n\t
• Promote safety culture through engagement with employees, JHSC and subcontractors, implementation and management of local and regional initiatives with an objective of zero safety incidents
\n\t
• Track conformance to required safety activities and assist management in directing employees and providing support for accountability
\n\t
• Assist the operations in verifying production by product, maintaining accurate cost and controlling inventory. Validate and match physical inventories, calculate and analyze all productivity and material,data.
\n\t
• Control and update production diaries for the sites on a daily basis.
\n\t
• Works closely with plant managers/superintendents and clerks to develop analytical and technical skills to improve inventory and production forecasting and management
\n\t
• Support the operations teams as required
\n\t
• Consistent time in the field to understand the aggregate operations
\n\t
• Expected to gain the ability to manage an aggregate operation, including all employees at a plant, as needed for a limited time frame based on operational requirements

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
\n Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or 3 years of equivalent experience
\n Field of Study Preferred: Mining Engineering
\n Required Technical Skills: SAP, Loadrite, Propeller, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.)
\n Travel Requirements: 50% across Colorado aggregate sites

Additional Requirements:

• Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Holcim approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators. Subject to applicable law, employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.
