Job Description

The PM Housekeeping Room Attendant at the  American Airlines – The Landing at Skyview 6 is responsible for the general cleaning and upkeep of guestrooms and other assigned areas in accordance with all housekeeping procedures and standards to ensure guest satisfaction.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Pick up cleaning and guest room supplies in the Housekeeping department.
• Clean assigned quota of rooms daily according to standards.
• Report all maintenance problems to Supervisor / Engineering.
• Remove dirty dishes from guest rooms and hallways.
• Respond to all guest requests appropriately and in a courteous, timely manner.
• Keep the supply cart neat and organized at all times.
• Check all equipment prior to and after use to ensure it is in good working order.
• Report and deliver lost and found items to the Housekeeping office.
• Clean, dust, polish, and vacuum to make sure guest rooms and bathrooms meet hotel standards.
• Change linens, make beds, and leave the bathroom sparkling.
• Restock all guest room supplies and amenities as necessary.
• Inspect and clean any and all appliances, including coffee maker.
• Organize linen closet, restock cart, and prepare for the shift.
• Greet guests that you encounter during your shift with a friendly smile.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Must have employment eligibility in the U.S.
• Previous experience in hotel housekeeping a plus.
• Ability to move, bend, lift, push, pull, and carry up to 25-30 pounds.
• Ability to move up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• Ability to stand and walk for an entire shift and perform repetitive motions.
• Attention to detail.
• A can-do attitude and a hands-on approach.
• A 3pm to 11pm , Monday - Sunday schedule that allows availability to work weekdays, holidays, and weekends based on the demands of the hotel.
