Parts Delivery Driver

This position requires a valid CDL (commercial driver's) license. The Equipment Operations Division of our company is seeking a first shift Parts Delivery Driver. Core Responsibilities:

• Load, move, and securely tie down heavy equipment onto trucks
• Assist Parts counter workers as needed
• Deliver and pick up parts to and from assigned locations on schedule
• Research and locate hard-to-find parts for customers and staff
• Maintain appropriate inventory levels of parts in stock
• Place and track parts orders to ensure timely availability
• Receive shipments and accurately stock parts inventory
• Keep supervisors informed of work progress and any issues
• Perform troubleshooting tasks relevant to parts and equipment based on skill level
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment for coworkers and customers
• Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned, meeting company performance standards

Key Skills:

• Physical Stamina: Able to stand, stoop, crawl, and bend for prolonged periods; capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and moving up to 75 lbs with assistive devices
• Environmental Tolerance: Comfortable working in various conditions including heat, cold, humidity, noise, dust, and wetness
• Driving: Valid driver's license with a clean driving record required
• Shop Knowledge: Working understanding of shop methods, procedures, and policies
• Basic Math: Able to perform basic mathematical calculations relevant to inventory and orders
• Equipment Operation: Forklift experience and certification preferred or ability to obtain certification
• Multitasking: Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks efficiently
• Technology: Proficient computer skills for tracking orders, inventory, and communications

Parts Delivery Driver Desired Qualifications:

• Valid CDL license & DOT medical card
• Previous Parts experience and/or mechanical background is preferred but willing to train the right individual
• General knowledge or experience working with or on heavy equipment
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Must be able to work well as a member of a team
• Must be flexible and able to adapt to varying workloads and environments
