What’s the role?

We’re looking for a talented Part-Time Accountant with a sharp accounting skill set and a passion for technology to join our team. In this role, you’ll partner closely with the Controller and provide support of key accounting functions (primarily Accounts Payable). 

This is a part-time, temporary role expected to last 4–5 months.

What you’ll do to be successful 

• Oversee Accounts Payable function including timely processing of bills, ensuring coding accuracy for spend and sales tax as well as approval policy adherence. 


• Manage AP inbox and all vendor correspondence including new vendor setup and matching with internal procurement when applicable.


• Maintain spend management platform (Airbase) including reviewing and coding credit card and bill transactions, and user workflows and defaults.


• Support month-end and year-end close. Prepare monthly accruals and AP related review and reconciliations.


• Assist the finance team with analysis or projects as they come up.

Experience & skills you’ll need

• 4+ years work experience as a Accountant or similar role


• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.


• Strong organization and time management skills, ability to work independently and meet deadlines.


• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and regulations.


• Experience with accounting software and systems.


• Great communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred qualifications

• Degree in accounting or related field (business administration, finance, etc.)

• Location : Remote 


• Expected weekly hours : 10-20 per week


• Hourly rate : $40
