Position Summary The MMC Assembler is responsible for maintaining the production of medical case cart products to meet customer requirements.
What You'll do as a MMC Assembler - Ability to assemble based on knowledge of the functions of major component parts and sub-assemblies within an assigned area.
- Use and understand torque wrenches and test equipment, and troubleshoot.
- Maintain published productivity standards on moderately challenging assemblies by utilizing a traveler, blueprint and standard work.
- Maintain high quality standards (meet the departments published quality rating).
- Maintain safe work areas and practice safe work habits.
- Apply 5S tools to include the T-card system.
The Experience, Skills and Abilities Needed Required: - High School Diploma or GED.
- 1-2 years of warehousing/manufacturing environment or experience.
Preferred: - Prior AS400 experience preferred,
- Experience with hydraulics and electrical component assemblies preferred.
Other: - Computer Skills to include Microsoft Office, and Shop Floor Control.
- Knowledge, understanding and application of Lean Manufacturing tools, such as, 5S, Kanban Inventory.
- Ability to read blueprints, knowledge of schematics.
- Experience using torque wrenches and test equipment and related troubleshooting.
- Ability to make decisions and stay quality focused.
- Ability to understand and follow work instructions, both written and oral.
- Ability to adapt to conditions as dictated by business requirements.
- Proven teamwork experience.
- Ability to work overtime, if required.
- Knowledge, understanding and application of Lean Manufacturing tools, such as, 5S, Kanban Inventory.

Pay range for this opportunity is $19.11 - $24.73. This position is eligible for bonus participation.
Minimum pay rates offered will comply with county/city minimums, if higher than range listed. Pay rates are based on a number of factors, including but not limited to local labor market costs, years of relevant experience, education, professional certifications, foreign language fluency, etc.
