Job Description

We’re looking for a WordPress Developer with solid experience in  WooCommerce and  plugin customization to rebuild and modernize an existing website
The goal is to redesign the site using a standard WooCommerce theme, improve its visuals, optimize performance, and make it easier for the client to manage content in the future.

The project includes full redesign, layout optimization, content structure updates, SEO preparation, and integration with analytics tools.

Customer Overview:

The client is a European company that provides specialized consulting services. The current website is built on WordPress with WooCommerce. The project aims to improve usability, design quality, and management flexibility, ensuring that the client can independently handle future content updates.

Responsibilities:

• Rebuild the current website using a standard WooCommerce theme (no heavy custom solutions)
• Implement a new design and improve site visuals, structure, and typography
• Add new sections (“Showcases,” “Brands”) with full content editing capability from the admin panel
• Configure WordPress admin for easy management of content: texts, images, videos, banners, and categories
• Add user registration functionality and basic analytics tracking
• Check and update missing Finnish translations for full bilingual support
• Optimize the site for SEO and prepare it for PPC and marketing campaigns (Q1 2026)
• Integrate analytics tools (Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, etc.)
• Fix existing bugs, review plugin setup, and ensure stable website performance across devices

Skills/Requirements:

• 3+ years of hands-on experience with  WordPress development
• Strong knowledge of  WooCommerce setup and customization
• Practical experience working with  plugins (configuration, debugging, performance tuning)
• Solid understanding of  HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and PHP
• Experience with  responsive design and layout optimization
• Basic knowledge of  SEO principles and site performance best practices
• English:  Intermediate+(direct communication with the client)

Nice to have:

• Ability to work with  Figma / Photoshop (for slicing and preparing assets)
• Understanding of  basic UI/UX design principles
