Job Description

About Apex Leadership Co.

Apex is a national franchise organization that helps schools raise funds while promoting fitness, leadership, and character development. Through our fun, high-energy programs, we empower students and educators while supporting schools across the country with powerful, proven fundraising solutions.

Each year, Apex helps schools raise over $55 million, and we’ve proudly served more than 4.2 million students — and counting. Backed by private equity and experiencing rapid growth, Apex offers a mission-driven culture with a strong focus on impact, innovation, and scalability.

Role Description

Campaign Execution | Lead Generation | CRM Optimization | Partner Enablement

The Marketing & Lead Development Manager is responsible for driving Apex’s franchise growth by executing marketing campaigns, managing lead pipelines, and supporting our partner and candidate journey from first touch through close. This role blends creative execution, data analysis, and operational ownership to fuel consistent, high-quality franchise lead flow.

You’ll collaborate cross-functionally with leadership, brokers, and prospective franchisees — owning campaigns, building CRM workflows, and optimizing touchpoints across paid and organic channels. You should be resourceful, organized, and comfortable working both strategically and tactically.

Qualifications

  • 2–4 years of marketing experience, including 2+ years in campaign execution or lead generation
  • Proven success managing campaigns and generating qualified lead
  • Strong with data — able to track, analyze, and optimize performance metrics (CTR, CPL, ROI)
  • Proficient with CRMs and automation tools (HubSpot preferred)
  • Experience with Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads, and retargeting platform
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage candidates, brokers, and event audiences
  • Clear, confident communicator — written and verbal
  • Highly organized and able to manage multiple priorities
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field
  • Ability to work on-site in Houston, TX
