Position Overview:
  • As a Salesforce Administrator in Support, will be responsible for the day-to-day configuration, support, maintenance, and improvement of the CRM platform.
  • The role requires a strong understanding of Salesforce's capabilities and functionalities, as well as an ability to translate business requirements into effective Salesforce solutions.
  • Administrators must stay current with new features and updates to ensure the organization maximizes its investment in the platform.

Responsibilities:
  • Handles the daily operation and maintenance of the Salesforce platform, including user management, data integrity, and system performance.
  • Customize and configure Salesforce to meet the specific needs of the support team, including creating custom objects, fields, workflows, and validation rules.
  • Create and maintain reports and dashboards to provide actionable insights to various stakeholders. Provide expert support to end-users, troubleshoot issues, and resolve technical challenges promptly.
  • Manage user roles, permissions, and access settings to ensure data security and compliance with organizational policies.
  • Identify and implement process improvements and automation to increase efficiency and productivity.
  • Collaborate with IT and other departments to integrate Salesforce with other systems and applications.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations, processes, and user guides.
  • Manage day to day incidents, including daily health checks, work closely with team and business partners to provide resolution and conduct follow ups. Escalates problems to appropriate teams as necessary.
  • Assist with deployments and oversee the move-over process, ensuring minimal disruption to daily operations
  • Coordinate with Salesforce support and consultants to resolve issues and implement best practices.
  • Provide 24x7 support and participate in on call rotation for critical production systems.

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or other relevant engineering field.
  • 2 - 3 years of relevant, hands-on experience as Salesforce Administrator or in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce configuration, including custom objects, workflows, validation rules, and reports.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for detail to identify and resolve issues effectively.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with stakeholders and provide user support.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and staying updated with the latest Salesforce developments.
  • Understanding of industry standard system architecture and system management tools.
  • Experience in Agile / Scrum development cycle environments.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with diverse teams.
  • Salesforce administrator certification, strongly preferred.

Pay Rate: $45 - $50 / Hour
