Skills

• Blueprint reading
• Adaptability and creative troubleshooting
• Communication across a variety of platforms
• Knowledge of hydraulics, water pressure, and water management
• Knowledge of electrical systems, transformers, control systems, and wiring
• Knowledge of irrigation systems (i.e, drip, sprays, rotors) and their components
• Knowledge of lighting design (i.e., uplighting, downlighting, moonlighting, layering, balance, focus)
  

Key Responsibilities

• Install new landscape lighting and irrigation projects, as well as implement small-scale enhancements to existing systems
• Conduct irrigation audits by assessing existing systems and creating ways to run them with greater efficiency and effectiveness
• Intentionally partner with management for your own professional and personal development
• Organize and maintain inventory, making requests for supplies and equipment as needed
• Organize and maintain various tools, as well as an orderly work truck

Requirements

• Stamina to perform heavy physical work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Ability to pass the pre-employment drug screening and background check, including motor vehicle report
• Strength and mobility in using a variety of hand and power tools, driving motor vehicles and/or construction equipment, and lifting/moving heavy materials with the use of proper equipment
• Availability for regular standby assignments, potential work that is scheduled for off-hours, and emergency overtime as may be required
