Job Description

Core Responsibilities:

• Manage over 20,000 spare part SKUs using SAP MM; ensure real-time stock visibility through regular cycle counts and full physical inventory audits.

• Minimize stock discrepancies and obsolete materials through proactive planning and accurate data reconciliation.

• Initiate purchase requisitions and stock transfers; maintain optimal inventory levels using consumption trends and lead-time analysis.

• Oversee incoming goods verification and ensure accurate system entry; issue spare parts promptly to avoid downtime, supporting plant operations and maintenance schedules.

• Maintain material master data, bin locations, and batch information; resolve mismatches between physical inventory and SAP records.

• Uphold warehouse safety standards, enforce correct storage practices, and support compliance with ISO and internal audit protocols.

• Supervise and train a team of 4 associates; assign daily tasks, monitor productivity, and lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on accuracy and efficiency.

• Generate and analyze SAP-based reports on stock aging, material movement, and consumption. Track KPIs such as inventory turns, stock accuracy, and picking performance.

• Collaborate closely with maintenance, procurement, and engineering teams to ensure critical part availability, expedite urgent orders, and align supply chain activities with operational needs.

Professional Experience & Achievements:

• 5+ years of experience managing multimillion-dollar spare parts inventory across two stockrooms.
• Led initiatives that significantly reduced stock discrepancies, improved inventory turnover, and enhanced internal service levels.
• Processed transactions via SAP (MIGO, MB1C, MB51) to ensure full visibility and traceability of materials.
• Played a key role in standardizing inventory procedures and training team members on SAP and warehouse operations.
