Ferguson is currently seeking the right individual to fill an immediate need for an Installation Tech - Fusion Pipe. This is a remote role supporting the North Dakota/South Dakota Region, ideally located within the central time zone near Fargo, ND, Bismarck, ND, or Sioux Falls, SD. Responsibilities include inspecting work for defects, dimensions, alignment, end preparations, and seam splits in pipe; maintaining a clean and safe machine station; reporting equipment malfunctions and safety issues; measuring and cutting pipe; moving pipe within the yard; reading blueprints; assembling pipe orders; operating powered industrial equipment per OSHA guidelines; performing live watermain taps; general warehousing; traveling in and out of state; working with customers and vendors; and possibly providing back-up driver duties. Qualifications include 3+ years mechanical machine experience, residence in Sioux Falls, SD, Bismarck, ND, or Fargo, ND, preferred fabrication experience, knowledge of Microsoft Office, attention to detail, integrity, professionalism, willingness to learn, ability to thrive in an inclusive environment, preferred experience with McElroy equipment for fusing HDPE/Fusible PVC pipe, training provided, minimum age 21, valid state license, and possession or ability to obtain a DOT Medical Card.
