Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Level 2/3 Telecom Cable Installer to join our infrastructure team. This role involves installing and maintaining telecom racks, pulling and lacing cables, installing fiber ducts, and working with DC powerplant batteries. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in cable infrastructure and a strong understanding of power systems in telecom environments.


Key Responsibilities:
- Install telecom racks and related hardware in datacenter or field environments.
-Pull, route, and lace copper and fiber optic cables according to industry standards.
- Install and secure fiber duct systems for structured cabling.
- Terminate, test, and troubleshoot secure/non-secure voice, video, and data cables.
- Maintain and organize core datacenter infrastructure following cabling standards.
- Cross-connect circuits using patch panels and other termination equipment.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on DC powerplant batteries and related systems.
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards during all installations.
- Document installation procedures and update infrastructure diagrams as needed.

- BICSI Installer 2 (Copper or Optical Fiber)
- OSHA 10/30 Certification
- DC Power Systems Training or Manufacturer-Specific Certifications
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in telecom cable installation or infrastructure support.
- Familiarity with DC powerplant systems and battery maintenance.
- Ability to lift up to 60 lbs and work in physically demanding environments.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
