A DAY IN THE LIFE AS AN AUTOMOTIVE TECHNICIAN / AUTO MECHANIC
As an Automotive Technician / Auto Mechanic at Coughlin, you are the lifeblood of our company's relationship with our customers, as you maintain and repair their vehicles for years after the sale. They trust your competence, as well as your integrity. You correctly diagnose mechanical problems with their vehicles, clearly explain the options, and make the agreed-upon repairs.
You also provide regular maintenance services that keep vehicles in top condition. Remembered not just for your skill but for your legendary customer service, you know how to make customers feel valued and good about their experiences with us. You love that you have the opportunity to turn lots of hours and continually earn additional certifications while learning to work on a variety of makes of automobiles. QUALIFICATIONS FOR A SERVICE TECHNICIAN / AUTO MECHANIC
Certifications are preferred but multiple factors will be taken into consideration. Dealership experience is a must! Are you service-oriented and attentive to detail? Can you explain technical information in layman's terms? Are you ready to jump-start your career? If so, you might just be perfect for this GM Service Technician / Auto Mechanic position!
WORK SCHEDULE
The work schedule is flexible, typically around 40 hours per week , but there is no cap on hours turned for flat rate techs. Service departments are closed on Sundays and only open until 6 pm during the week.
