Allegiance Staffing has immediate, temp to hire opportunities available for forklift drivers in Elizabethtown, PA.

Positions are 1st and 2nd shift, Mon- Friday.

Pay Range: $19-$22/ hour.

The purpose of this position is to operate powered industrial trucks to load and unload materials and deliveries to and from trailers, and move them to and from storage areas, the freezer, production areas and the loading docks.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

1. Load and unload trucks
2. Put away product
3. Build pallets up to 6’ high
4. High picking accuracy
5. Familiar with production of food and the picking of raw materials and the put away of finished goods.
6. Support the production room
7. Pick all Single Source orders for loadout
8. High degree of accuracy
9. Performs other duties as assigned
10. Ability to move and lift wooden skids or pallets
11. Uses protective materials and strapping equipment to protect and secure loads; once delivered, removes strapping and wrapping, then safely disposes of waste materials in designated containers or areas

Experience and Requirements

1. High school diploma or equivalent
2. Minimum 3yrs. of forklift (high) reach-truck (stand up) experience
3. Minimum 2 yr. warehouse, dock & picking experience
4. Must be ok working in cold temperatures ranging from sub zero to 32 degrees
5. Ability to lift up to 50lbs
6. Basic Math skills
