Role Overview:

Sodexo is hiring a Food Operations Manager at Olathe Medical Center in Olathe, KS . The Food Operations Manager will be responsible for directing and overseeing the food service team and ensuring smooth and successful operations. The Food Operations Manager will come with strong food service management experience and proven ability to build teams, mentor others, and drive customer satisfaction. 

What You'll Do:

• manage day-to-day food service operations and team members 
• motivate, coach, mentor and develop frontline staff and supervisors 
• interact with customers, hospital staff, and visitors to ensure customer satisfaction 
• deliver high quality food services including retail, catering and patient meal management operations

• food service management experience in a hospital
• proven background with patient services and patient experience 
• demonstrated leadership skills and proven ability to foster culture, retain employees, and develop teams
• a strong background in safety and sanitation compliance

Qualifications & Requirements:

Minimum Education Requirement - Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience

Minimum Management Experience - 3 years

Minimum Functional Experience - 3 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
