Position Title: Fire Alarm Technician (FAL)

We are seeking an experienced Fire Alarm Technician to join our growing team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for installing, programming, maintaining, and repairing fire alarm and security systems for commercial projects. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated technician who takes pride in precision, safety, and customer satisfaction.

What You’ll Do

• Install, program, and test fire alarm systems in commercial environments.
• Conduct site surveys to ensure optimal placement and functionality of alarm systems.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair fire alarm systems to keep them fully operational.
• Perform upgrades, replacements, and system enhancements as needed.
• Complete scheduled maintenance and inspections to meet compliance and safety standards.
• Provide hands-on training and clear instructions to customers on system use.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of installations, inspections, and repairs.
• Stay current on industry certifications, codes, and emerging technologies.
• Collaborate with team members and project managers to deliver projects on time.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support the team’s success.

What You Bring

• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with attention to detail.
• Hands-on experience with low-voltage systems including access control, CCTV, and security.
• Ability to program panels and use laptops/iPads for software integration.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Fire Alarm or Alarm Technician (multi-year preferred).
• Nicet License (Must Have)
• Familiarity with multiple fire alarm system brands and models
• exposure to CCTV, security, and access control systems (preferred).
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
