Overview of the Program

Step into the world of global finance with Lincoln Electric’s Finance - Accounting Internship! This isn’t just another internship - it’s your chance to work alongside industry leaders at a $4.2B global manufacturing powerhouse. From diving into real accounting tasks and analyzing competitor data to crafting impactful presentations and supporting investor relations, you’ll be at the heart of projects that matter. You’ll also contribute to strategic initiatives that shape the future of a company with operations in over 160 countries. 

Potential Projects

• Assist in preparing financial reports that highlight key performance metrics, trends, and variances to support decision-making.
• Conduct research on industry competitors to gather insights into financial performance
• Assist in the preparation and review of quarterly and annual filings (10-Q, 10-K).
• Prepare journal entries and perform account reconciliations to ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Work cross functionally with other finance and accounting departments (Internal Audit, FP&A, Cost Accounting)

Basic Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or having achieved a bachelor's degree in accounting
• Eligible to work in the United States on a full-time, permanent basis without sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum overall GPA of 3.0
• Desire to work for a manufacturing company
• Experience with Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
