Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

An opening position is available for a special education and ESL teacher serving K-12 students in the Holyoke, MA area, with itinerant responsibilities near Greenfield, MA. This full-time role is a contract position for the remainder of the school year, designed for a skilled educator experienced in special education and ESL instruction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver tailored special education services to K-12 students, adapting instruction to meet individual learning needs.
• Provide ESL support to English language learners, enhancing language acquisition and integration.
• Collaborate with school staff, families, and support services to create effective education plans.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress, assessments, and communications.
• Travel to multiple school sites within the designated region, ensuring consistent service delivery.

Desired Qualifications:

• Valid teaching certification in Special Education and ESL.
• Experience working with diverse student populations in K-12 settings.
• Strong knowledge of special education laws, IEP development, and ESL teaching methodologies.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage itinerant assignments.
