Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

An opportunity is available for a full-time Special Education Teacher specializing in elementary education. This onsite position requires commitment throughout the current school year (CSY) and involves working directly within an elementary school environment. Candidates must hold a valid New York Special Education Teaching License to qualify.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to elementary students with special needs
• Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to provide inclusive and effective learning experiences
• Monitor student progress and adapt instructional strategies to meet diverse learning requirements
• Maintain detailed records and communicate regularly regarding student development and outcomes

Qualifications:

• Valid New York State Special Education Teaching License
