The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Drupal-based websites and applications. This role requires strong expertise in Drupaldevelopment, site-building, theming, and module development, as well as a deep understanding of best practices in web development. **Key Responsibilities:** - Develop, customize, and maintain Drupal-based websites and applications. - Design and implement new features, enhancements, and custom functionalities in Drupal. - Collaborate with designers and front-end developers to create responsive and user-friendly websites. - Write clean, scalable, and well-documented code, adhering to Drupal coding standards and best practices. - Develop custom modules to meet project-specific requirements. - Perform site-building activities, including content types, taxonomies, views, and menus. - Integrate third-party APIs and services with Drupal applications. - Optimize website performance, scalability, and security. - Debug and troubleshoot issues in existing Drupal sites. - Stay updated on the latest Drupal updates, trends, and security patches. - Work closely with project managers and stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver solutions on time. **Required Skills and Qualifications:** - **Experience:** 5+ years of professional experience in Drupal development. - **Drupal Expertise:** Strong knowledge of Drupal, including theming, module development, and site building. - **Programming Languages:** Proficiency in PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Twig templating. - **Frameworks:** Familiarity with Symfony or other PHP frameworks. - **Front-End Development:** Experience with responsive design, Bootstrap, and modern front-end technologies (e.g., Sass, LESS, React, Vue.js). - **Database Management:** Knowledge of MySQL or other relational databases. - **Version Control:** Experience with Git and version control workflows. - **Tools & Platforms:** Familiarity with Acquia Cloud, Pantheon, or similar hosting environments. - **Debugging & Optimization:** Ability to identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and other issues. - **Soft Skills:** Excellent communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills. **Preferred Skills:** - Knowledge of Decoupled/Headless Drupal implementations. - Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment. - Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies. - Exposure to Drupal Commerce or other e-commerce platforms. - Understanding of SEO and accessibility standards (WCAG, ARIA). - Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
