Data Center Commissioning QC Manager

We are seeking a highly experienced Commissioning Quality Control (QC) Manager to lead and oversee the commissioning and quality assurance processes for mission-critical data center infrastructure projects. This role ensures that all mechanical, electrical, and control systems are installed, tested, and documented to meet design intent, operational standards, and client expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the commissioning process for data center MEP systems including HVAC, electrical, fire protection, and building automation
• Develop and implement quality control plans, commissioning scripts, and testing protocols
• Review design documents, submittals, and installation practices to ensure compliance with project specifications and industry standards
• Coordinate with construction teams, vendors, and third-party commissioning agents to schedule and execute functional performance testing
• Manage punch lists, deficiency tracking, and resolution processes during commissioning phases
• Maintain detailed documentation of commissioning activities, test results, and system performance
• Conduct site inspections and audits to verify installation quality and adherence to safety protocols
• Interface with client representatives to communicate progress, resolve issues, and deliver final commissioning reports
• Support turnover and closeout procedures including training, O&M documentation, and warranty coordination

Qualifications:

• 4+ years of experience in data center commissioning or MEP quality control
• Strong knowledge of mission-critical systems including UPS, generators, CRAC units, BMS, and EPMS
• Experience with commissioning software and reporting tools
• Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills
