Job Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with other art and design disciplines to help steer initial conceptual direction
• Provide feedback and mentorship to other concepts artists on the team
• Help continue expand the capabilities concept team, through training and team building

Skills:

• Background in Gaming
• Ideal candidates should have a strong background in the gaming industry.
• Experience working on racing games is highly preferred. Versatility in Art Styles
• Ability to provide 3-4 distinct visual styles for review and iteration
• Demonstrates flexibility and creativity in conceptualizing different looks and feels.
• Understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities in VR game art.
• Prior work specifically on racing games is a bonus, further strengthening the candidate’s fit.
• Availability & Willingness
• VR Experience (Preferred)
• Experience with virtual reality (VR) platforms is a plus.
• Demonstrates flexibility in availability and a willingness to collaborate and adapt to project needs.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams (e.g., engineering, design, production).
• Strong communication and teamwork skills across disciplines

Education/Experience:

• 3-5 years Industry experience as a concept artist.
• Portfolio that demonstrates conceptual design fundamentals and versatility in both rapid ideation sketching and production paintings.
• Experienced foundational art knowledge in theories of form, value, color, proportion, anatomy, and scale.
• Communication skills and experience in both effectively give and receive creative and artistic critique.
• Familiarity with making games.
• Bachelor's degree
