About the Role

The Company is in search of a Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) to spearhead the mobilization of youth and young adults in reshaping societal views on mental health. The CMO will be responsible for defining and executing a comprehensive marketing and communications strategy that amplifies the organization's external presence and ensures its brand and vital information resonate with all stakeholders. This pivotal role involves leading a multidisciplinary team, setting data-driven marketing goals, and driving the use of measurement frameworks to track the impact of campaigns. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in marketing, communications, and movement building, with a deep understanding of youth and young adult engagement, particularly within BIPOC and LGBTQ+ communities. They must be a visionary leader, fostering collaboration, and committed to centering equity in all aspects of their work. Key responsibilities for the CMO include brand management, crisis communications, and the development of culturally responsive messaging that inspires action. The role also involves building and sustaining a network of mental health champions, designing mobilization campaigns, and forging partnerships with diverse organizations and policymakers. The successful candidate will have at least 15 years' of leadership experience, a strong entrepreneurial spirit, and a data-driven approach to marketing. They should be adept at leading and managing teams, with a focus on fostering a high-performing, innovative, and accountable culture. A Bachelor's degree is required, with a preference for a Master's, and a background in mental health advocacy is highly valued.
